Darkroom Adventures

contact sheet_001 contactsheet_02
Here's a look at the film I developed this week, a medium format roll that I shot on my Diana F+ this winter.  The photos look so cold and creepy, I love it.  These photos are taken from the contact sheet that I made from the roll, this explains the scratches.  I don't have a film holder for this size film (yet), so I can't yet make prints.  As soon as the one I ordered off ebay from Korea gets here I'll make prints of these.  (here's a link to a photos of the actual negatives, as you can see they came out quite thin, so under exposed)

On another note, I can't believe it's already Friday (insert crying here) this means that I have to go back to work tomorrow, and that makes me sad.  But hey, I do need the money.  Tonight I'm going to a little going away party, then I want to come home and plan the camping trip.  I didn't realize how difficult it would be to find a campsite that I like that also allows dogs!

  2. Thanks! I just took a look at your blog and I love your look! I adore browsing through style blogs of people who dress totally different than I do.

  3. You have a darkroooooooom! That's my dream! We almost got one (for free!) a few weeks ago, but someone called on that ad before us, I was really upset. But then I thought, that actually, we don't have space for all that equipment in our tiny apartment right now. huh.. But your photos turned out great and it's such an inspiration to me to go shoot some more tomorrow!

  4. You always have room for a darkroom! That should be my motto. I'm actually very lucky that we have the space for me to be set up right now (we have a spare bathroom). I just wish I had time to be in there everyday instead of only a few times a week! Will post more on the darkroom adventures soon... Thanks for checking out my blog, Katie, I love yours!
