Darkroom Adventures: Film Challenge

This year I really want to push myself to make more photographs, even more than last year! I think that 2013 was successful in many ways, but this year I want to put myself out of my comfort zone. So I'm challenging myself to take 52 rolls of film this year. One per week.
Of course I will be summarizing each week with it's ups and downs right here on the blog. Join me if you like! If you aren't into film work with whatever you have! Just go out and take pictures every week. Let me know how it goes.

  2. Oh how I miss film! How are you processing your film? Do you have your own darkroom set up? I imagine that would be a huge undertaking but oh so rewarding. I can't wait to see how your roll a week project turns out :)

  3. My mom pulled out my Grandfather's old camera while I was there for Xmas and loved playing with it! Since I was too afraid to take it with on the plane (I checked both of my bags) I hope I am able to grab it from her one day. I do think shooting with film cameras has become such a lost art!

  8. Thanks, Angela! She's my favorite subject at the moment, haha. It's so easy to take photos of dogs, they are so photogenic.

  10. I do have a darkroom setup, I'm lucky enough to have the room right now. I am processing my B&w in the bathroom, I want to start working with color again soon! These images above weren't physically printed they are scans of negatives.

  11. That's a great challenge to set yourself, I wish I was more confident to shoot with film, but I'm sure I would waste most of it or be too afraid to take a picture so that I wouldn't waste it!
